LINEA becomes "Rail Cargo Italia"
Rebranding strenghtens Rail Cargo Austria on the Italian market

LINEA S.p.A. - a wholly owned subsidiary of Rail Cargo Austria group – was changed to Rail Cargo Italia S.r.l. with effect from 12.01.2012. The Italian RCA subsidiary is part of the international network of Rail Cargo Austria. In addition, the change of the corporate name is coupled with the transformation from a joint stock company (S.p.A) into a limited liability company (S.r.l.). This change enables us to facilitate and speed up the processes within Rail Cargo Italia in the future. The range of services of LINEA S.p.A. will remain unchanged.
Rail Cargo Italia will continue to offer a wide range of railway services for freight traffic in the future as well as continue to focus on customer requirements, quality, environmental friendliness and security. „With the new company name „Rail Cargo Italia“, the brand recognition of Rail Cargo Austria group will be strengthened. With the optimal combination of own traction services, competency, reliability and service quality, Rail Cargo Italia is one of the most important transportation service provider on the important Northern Italian market.“, so RCA-board member Andreas Fuchs.
Rail Cargo Austria on track
As an international operating partner, Rail Cargo Austria will continue focusing on customers’ needs. That means that the Turnaround project will be further implemented. This program contains fundamental structural changes within the company and its service portfolio, as well as the optimization of the affiliate portfolio in order to offer RCA customers economically sustainable, future oriented, qualitative and reliable transportation services.
